Dublin Simon Community works to prevent and address homelessness in Dublin. They provide services at all stages of homelessness and enable people to move to a place they can call home.
 

The organisation was founded by a group of Trinity and UCD students in 1969 who began by providing much-needed soup and sandwiches to people who were sleeping rough in Dublin city centre. They still provide the Dublin Simon Soup Run, 365 nights of the year, but things have moved on since then and their range of services reflect the needs of people who are homeless in Dublin at present.

The ‘Sing for Simon’ campaign kicked off on the 1st of December. This year they are hoping to break records and have as many groups as possible out ‘Singing for Simon’ in the 24 days before Christmas including a 24 hour Carol-athon. Choirs, bands, singers, friends and families all take to the street to sing their hearts out and to raise funds for our services.
