Social Inclusion Week 2011 is taking place from the 8th – 15th October 2011. It is being launched by Miriam O’Callaghan on 28th September, 12noon, at the New Civic Square at the Metals, DunLaoghaire (adjacent to Meadows and Byrne). All are most welcome.

Social Inclusion Week is an opportunity to hold and participate in a series of positive actions that support people to achieve equality, participation, recognition. The week also highlights the importance of supporting people to contribute to social and cultural life and to be aware of, and challenge all types of discrimination.

This year there are over 70 events taking place, from the DLR Community 5k in Kilbogget Park (on 8th October) to Inclusion Fusion 3, on in the Pavillion theatre on Thursday, 13th October.
