NFTE Ireland is operated by Foróige, the National Youth Development organisation and affiliated to NFTE International. The NFTE programme is delivered to young people from 12 – 18 years of age, through schools and youth centres.

Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Ireland’s mission statement is to provide entrepreneurship education to young people living in low- income communities on the island of Ireland

NFTE believes in empowering young people by developing their core skills in business and enterprise and in doing so helps unlock a young person’s individual talents and potential.

• Promote self belief
• Build communication and interpersonal skills
• Develop knowledge and interest in business
 

On Saturday February 25 we will have 14 young people from Tallaght trading in the shopping centre. These young people have all completed the entrepreneur programme in their youth projects and have all developed their own businesses. They will be set up to trade their wares which range from hair fascinator to decorated plant pots and customised baby grows.
